"College roommate and I went to see a concert. Been a fan of Floyd and Styx for decades. Division Bell was my last taste in 1994.
In awe of the sound quality and special effects, we both were. Top 10 concerts of my life, definitely (first was Zeppelin in '69). Would have gladly paid much more for a ticket, knowing now what a fantastic evening it would be.
Early on, it was a bit tough to clearly pick up all of the vocals, but it got much better.
Closed my eyes in several of the songs for a minute or so and focused on the music. The sound was magical. Styx was in a zone, as was the drummer. The young lead guitarist was fantastic--a full-on match for the missing Gilmour.
A concert that I will never forget.
